Beth is our planet champion with a keen interest in low carbon materials and circularity in design. She is currently undertaking the Carbonlite Retrofit Foundation course which is supporting our work on the retrofit of Lune and Derby Houses and the wider Mainway estate regeneration.
Beth is currently leading the deep-retrofit of Lune and Derby Houses to create 16 zero-carbon homes which will reduce fuel bills for residents while creating new outdoor space including a communal courtyard and private gardens. She is also working with the London Borough of Camden to develop their Small Sites Programme Design Brief, setting out a holistic approach to delivering characterful and viable new homes. Beth has strong experience acting as design guardian and worked with Mary Duggan to maintain quality on the construction of 157 new homes in South Coulsdon.
With Chloë & Sarah, Beth was named in the Architects’ Journal’s 40 under 40 list of the UK’s most exciting architectural talent.
Chloë has more than twenty years of industry experience and is known as an industry leader for creating innovative ways of delivering characterful and affordable housing on small sites at scale. She leads the Grounded team providing creative direction for the business and is passionate about addressing our social housing crisis. She brings a unique blend of development, placemaking and architectural expertise to each project having worked in leading roles in both the public and private sector.
Chloë is currently involved in the Masterplan for Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community which will deliver 7750 new homes over the next twenty to thirty years.
She contributes widely to the profession, has provided advice on housing quality to the GLA, and she is chair of the Thanet Design Review Panel, vice chair of Camden Design Review Panel and a member of the Ebbsfleet Design Panel. She regularly joins expert panels and is Building Design’s regular columnist on Housing.
Katie is our people champion and strives for greater spatial, material and social justice in the built environment.
She has been leading the new build infill housing on Mainway Estate, Lancaster. Katie has expertise in Passivhaus design, community engagement and prior to joining us, worked on a major retrofit project for the new Museum of London project.
She is the co-chair of the Young Trustees at the Architecture Foundation as well as regularly mentoring with a number of organisations including Built By Us, Westminster University, the Social Mobility Foundation & Open City Accelerate. As a mental health advocate with a qualification in Mental Health First Aid, Katie also acts as an ambassador for the Architects Benevolent Society, whilst sitting on their Development and Engagement Committee.
Katie’s experience also includes a series of community spaces including a live build Wildlife Hide for Kielder National Park as well as a competition winning bandstand for Bromley Council and community observatory for Allenheads Contemporary Arts.
Sarah has extensive residential experience through all RIBA Stages. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth production of our projects in the studio.
Sarah is currently leading the Mainway masterplan project in Lancaster an estate regeneration project that combines the retrofit of existing homes alongside the addition of new zero carbon homes, extensive enhancement of the public realm and improved community infrastructure. Sarah has also been responsible for a town centre strategy in Dumbarton, and construction quality monitoring of a 22 storey tower in Croydon.
Sarah has been involved in housing design and delivery at all scales is passionate that high quality housing is available to everyone. She is a tutor at the Bartlett School of Planning where she ensures that the importance design quality and considered placemaking discussed at a strategic level.

Lola our barketing manager is a key supporter of health and wellbeing. Lola also takes the lead on office security and surveillance, although has been found to snooze on the job. She is an expert in landscape, public realm and all things outdoors, monitoring the nearby parks and exploring the local streets.
With a nose for new business, Lola enjoys meeting new people and sniffing out the competition. In her spare time, Lola likes chasing squirrels, finding street food and a good nap.
